Linda Spyres (CEO and Clinician) is both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (BBS#69677) and a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (#0715951) with the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of California (ACCBC). Linda has 10 years’ experience working in Northern California specializing in trauma and addiction. Her formal education is: Master of Social Work from California State University (CSU, Chico); BA in Psychology and Bible Studies from Simpson University; and AA degrees in 3 areas (General Education, Addiction Studies, and Social & Behavioral Science) through Shasta Community College and Butte Community College.

Linda currently has evening and weekend hours available.

 

 

Tina Milan (ASW35034): My life message is kindness and compassion. I would love to see every person have the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential. My approach is strength based and client centered. I see myself as a change agent, honored and humbled to join with families.

I have experience in assessment, brief intervention, treatment planning, and case management. I have provided psycho-education with individuals, couples, and families of all ages. I received my Master’s in Social Work through California State University (CSU), Chico. I have studied and applied treatment modalities such as: narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, family systems, and trauma focused therapy. I utilize parenting interventions to improve the quality of parenting skills such as parental self-efficacy, self management tools, and promoting problem solving.
